OUR MISSION
A PASSION FOR THE CLASSICS
Our goal is to breathe new life into two classic Half-Life titles by rebuilding them in the Source engine — not just with enhanced visuals, but with a renewed focus on storytelling, atmosphere, and level design. We’re reimagining the worlds, puzzles, and characters we grew up with, staying faithful to the originals while enriching them with modern tools and technologies.
This is our tribute to the games that made us fall in love with interactive storytelling — and we can't wait to share them with a new generation of players

OUR FOCUS
STAYING TRUE TO THE ORGINALS
We stay faithful to the original design and storytelling because, like many, we grew up with Half-Life. The stories of Adrian Shephard and Barney Calhoun left a lasting impact on us — and on the game industry as a whole — not just as players, but as fans captivated by the atmosphere, pacing, and world-building that defined these games. Recreating their journeys is our way of honoring what made them so memorable.
Our focus isn’t to rewrite history, but to retell it — with care, respect, and a few fresh ideas of our own. We’represerving the coregameplay, puzzles, and tone while enhancing the experience through redesigned levels, improved narrative flow, and expanded gameplay moments that stay faithful to the spirit of the originals.

What makes the original games so unique is the diversity of characters. Both the different characters in the Black Mesa facility and the various enemies such as Xen wildlife and Race X. We always try to add our own touches without losing sight of the original design. This way, every interaction with a character within the games feels familiar, but with a new twist.
Some developers among us are passionate about the overall look and feel of a level. When building our games, we always try to ensure that the different layers of a level contribute to the story. We believe it is important that this is often found in the small details, such as adding unique sound designs, particle effects, using a 3D skybox to provide background information about the situation in the overall story, etc. All these things contribute to telling a good story.
In addition to interacting with the world and characters, the smaller and larger puzzles are also important. We try to keep the existing puzzles but add our own twist. It should encourage players to explore the world around them more and, above all, it should remain fun.
